Things I wish I could share with my grandmother:
- these black peony tulips (she would have adored them)
- the Advanced Style blog and books
- the creative work I’ve done since she’s been gone
- all the stories I never got to tell her
- a big hug
She taught me to value art and the creative process, hard work, and trying again and again until you get it right. I miss her, and I know she’d be proud of me and my work.
