Late winter into early spring is such a tricky season… Still cold, still dark, but part of me yearns for the first glimpses of color. It’s so beautiful in my garden, though. I couldn’t resist bringing that botanical inspiration into my studio for some Mechanical Garden collection jewelry photos.
Plum, huckleberry, rosemary, mahonia, salal, lavender, and sage branches (with a strawberry leaf and fern frond) surround the Delicate Scarab Necklace , Lotus Earrings , Scarab Earrings , Large Poppy Earrings , Trellis Bracelet, Laburnum Earrings , and Trellis Earrings , all from Wraptillion’s botanical-inspired Mechanical Garden collection .
Sage, cyclamen, fern, strawberry, salal, huckleberry, rosemary, mahonia, lavender, primrose, and violet surround the Delicate Wisteria Necklace , Ivy Earrings , Short Fuchsia Earrings , Hops Earrings , and Small Poppy Earrings , all from Wraptillion’s botanical-inspired Mechanical Garden collection .
After this photoshoot, my studio smelled of rosemary, lavender, thyme, and violets. It feels like my own tiny, everyday version of paradise.
Best of all, I’ll be admiring the leftover “models” all week as my studio flowers !
Bare plum branches and evergreen salal (Gaultheria shallon) in my favorite Heath Ceramics bud vase
Spring flowers (snowdrop, primrose, and violet) and evergreen leaves in a tiny vase my grandmother made
Plum, mahonia, huckleberry, and rosemary in a handmade Arts and Crafts-style vase I bought years ago at a local craft festival. (I’ve lost the artist’s name, so please tell me if you know who made this piece!)
Now back to work… But look how beautiful my studio workspace is today!
